Stephen Reily was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 8 of the Louisville City Council in Kentucky. He was defeated in the primary election on May 17, 2016.

Reily received a bachelor's degree from Yale University and a J.D. from Stanford Law School. His professional experience includes serving as a law clerk at the U.S. Supreme Court and working in two law firms in Louisville. He co-founded IMC, a marketing services agency, in 1998. He is the co-founder and chair of Seed Capital Kentucky, a nonprofit seeking sustainability for farmers and food entrepreneurs.[1]
