I devoted eight years of my life to serving in the United States Army, fearlessly completing three tours in Iraq and one tour in Korea. In 2013, I Bought Fort Welikit Campground in Custer. I was President of the South Dakota Campground Owners Association, and a dedicated board member of Black Hills Badlands and Lakes.
  • Small businesses are the lifeblood of economic vitality and represent the spirit of innovation and diversity. Their contributions cannot be overstated, as they not only drive local economies but also bring fresh ideas and solutions to the market. It is imperative to prioritize the facilitation of funding and resources for small businesses, as well as to offer unwavering support and guidance. Alongside these efforts, the implementation of policies that cultivate a conducive and nurturing business environment is crucial. Recognizing and appreciating the profound value that small businesses contribute to the larger economy is essential for sustainable growth and development.
  • It is crucial to emphasize the significance of prioritizing the well-being of veterans within our community. Given their selfless service and immense sacrifices, it is imperative that we, as a community, prioritize their care and support. By pooling our efforts and resources, we can effectively work together to ensure that veterans have access to the necessary assistance and support systems for a successful transition to civilian life. As someone who has served in the military, I deeply understand the pivotal role of ensuring that our veterans receive the care and consideration they truly deserve. It’s not only a duty but a moral imperative to uphold the well-being of those who have dedicated themselves to serving our country.
  • The protection of property is undeniably crucial, and regulations must strive to be equitable and impartial, upholding the fundamental right to own and make use of one’s property. This equilibrium is indispensable for the establishment of a fair and well-operating society. The assurance of property rights not only fosters economic development but also provides individuals with a sense of security and stability. When property rights are respected and upheld, it creates a conducive environment for individuals to invest in their properties, cultivate resources, and contribute to the overall progress of society. In essence, safeguarding property rights is pivotal for the sustenance of a just and prosperous community.
I believe that any government entity should be fully transparent.
