Stephen Waguespack
Stephen Waguespack (Republican Party) (also known as Wags) ran for election for Governor of Louisiana. He lost in the primary on October 14, 2023.
Biography
Waguespack received a bachelor's degree in mass communication from Louisiana State University and a J.D. from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.[1] He served on the staff of U.S. Rep. Joe Barton (R) and worked as a policy director, deputy director, and chief of staff on both the campaign and in the administration of Gov. Bobby Jindal (R).[1] Waguespack was an attorney at Jones Walker LLP and president and CEO of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry.[1]
