I'm a business professional with more than 30 years experience Coaching and Consulting for some of America's top business leaders in America's largest Fortune 500 companies as well as right down to the local level of North Carolina business owners.
  • Support our nearly 400 family farmers in Wake County to ensure their sustainability and success
  • Increase the education arm of the Commission to bring agricultural education into our schools
  • Bring a high level of business experience to the Commission and professionalize it
Too often in other states and, in North Carolina to a degree, Land and Water Use Rights are being taken away from land owners and Farmers. These precious Rights must be maintained and fought for and kept out of the hands of land developers and bureaucrats. This is my number one policy issue to fight for.

Second, few kids, if any, even know where their food comes from and that has to change. Extending the educational reach of the Commission is imperative is critical to help create an educated population of children who through greater knowledge, will carry on the fight for Land and Water Use Rights and protecting our precious Family farms.

And finally, I've spoken in front of hundreds of constituents and 95% of people polled don't even know what the Commission is or what its function is. That has to change. Education and increased awareness is critical for the population at large to know where their tax dollars are being spent and, how they can support the Commission's efforts
