Steve Bartels (Republican Party) is a member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 74. He assumed office on November 16, 2017. His current term ends on November 4, 2026.

Bartels was first appointed to the chamber on November 6, 2017, following the resignation of incumbent Lloyd Arnold (R).[1]
Biography
Steve Bartels was born and raised in southern Indiana. Bartels has had a variety of professional positions, including serving in the United States military for 22 years, serving as a full-time Indiana law enforcement officer for nine years, serving as owner/operator of Patoka Lake Marina, Inc., and owner/vitner of Patoka Lake Winery, Inc. In addition to these, Bartels served on the County Tourism Board and the Crawford County Council.[2]
