Biography
Caramelli earned his bachelor's degree from and has undertaken post-graduate studies at the University of Illinois-Chicago. His professional experience includes working as a police officer, for the Illinois State Police.[1]

Lowering property taxes – Everywhere I go, I hear how high property taxes are creating pain. We need to reduce that pain and restore some sense in how we fund our government services and programs. Opposing retirement taxes – Retirees have earned a reasonable, secure retirement. We cannot and must not tax them to make up for our mistakes in Springfield. Increasing education funding – Our children deserve more resources and fairer funding solutions to ensure all of them have a chance to succeed in the classroom. Supporting labor and jobs – Working men and women are the backbone of our economy, and when they do well, we all do well.
