Recall reports

A vote about whether to recall Steve Dunn from his position as president of the Lakewood School District in Wisconsin took place on April 6, 2010. Dunn was recalled after 15 years on the board and replaced by Kurt Andersen.[1]

Recall supporter arguments

Recall supporters were unhappy about the increased number of hours Dunn spent at school during the school day. Another grievance against Dunn was the creation of committees that were seen as ways to get around superintendent Rebecca Vail. Vail announced on March 1, 2010 her resignation from the district.[1]
