Steve Ferrara
Steve Ferrara (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Arizona's 9th Congressional District. He lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Biography
Ferrara earned his B.S. from UCLA in 1991 and his M.D. from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 1995. He is double board certified in diagnostic radiology and vascular and interventional radiology. Ferrara served in the U.S. Navy from 1991 to 2016 and retired with the rank of captain. While in the U.S. Navy, he served as the chief medical officer from 2013 to 2015. He also served as a Congressional health policy fellow from 2012 to 2013.[1]
Ferrara's career experience includes working as a physician and as a clinical professor of radiology. He previously worked as the diagnostic radiology residency program director at the Naval Medical Center San Diego from 2005 to 2011.[1]
