Campaign website
Hammerson's campaign website stated the following:
Steve thinks our commissioners should put Douglas County first.
- He wants to fight State legislature to allow timber harvesting again.
- Grow Roseburg and surrounding areas to be a breeding ground for medical providers and robotics and technology.
- Steve believes our local leaders should do more listening. He loves listening to veterans, families, and the elderly population.
- Steve will push back against state legislation impacting public safety in Roseburg. He is steadfast in defending your 2nd Amendment rights.
- Here’s the most important thing about why we need Steve: his strength in character. We all know politics can get corrupted. But not Steve. So, regardless of the challenge, temptation or offer he faces, we know we can count on him to represent us well and stay true to his mission to serve us.
