Steve Hilgers is a magistrate judge for the Ninth Judicial District in Kansas. He was most recently retained in 2014 for a term that expired on January 13, 2019.[1]

Hilgers was retained to District 9 with 73.5 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [1] 

2010

Hilgers was retained to office with 71.9% of the vote in 2010.[2][3]

Education

Hilgers received his undergraduate degree from Fort Hays State University and his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law.[4]

Career

Prior to his elevation to the bench, Hilgers worked in private practice. He has also served as assistant county attorney in McPherson and Harvey counties.[4]
