Steve Jones was a judge for the Torrance County Magistrate Court in Torrance County, New Mexico.[1] He was appointed to the court in 1993 by former Governor Bruce King. Jones did not seek re-election in 2014 and retired from the bench at the end of his last term on December 31, 2014.[2]

Career

Before his appointment to the Torrance County Magistrate Court, Jones served as a manager for Torrance County and as a member of the Moriarty Municipal Schools Board of Education.[2]

Elections

2010

Jones ran unopposed in his bid for re-election to the Torrance County Magistrate Court, receiving 100% of the vote.[3]
