Steve Kelley is the former Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce, serving from 2019 to 2020. He was appointed in January 2019 by Gov. Tim Walz (D).[1] On September 11, 2020, the Minnesota Senate voted to remove him from office.[2]

Kelly previously served in the Minnesota Senate for 10 years and in the Minnesota House of Representatives for four years.[1]

Biography

Prior to his appointment, Kelley was a senior fellow at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.[1]
