Louisville Metro Council District 10

Steve Magre is a former Democratic member of the Louisville City Council in Kentucky, representing 10. The council appointed him to the position on February 12, 2015, following the death of former District 10 representative and Council President Jim King (D) on January 14, 2015.[1]

Magre's appointment was for a partial term. The District 10 seat was up for election in November 2015 and Magre's term ended in January 2016.[2]

Marge's previous political experience includes serving on the Louisville Board of Aldermen, the predecessor to the Louisville City Council, from December 1979 to January 2003. During his tenure, he held the position of President of the Board for eight years.[1]
