One seat on the Broken Arrow Public Schools Board of Education was scheduled for by-district general election on February 14, 2017. However, the election for the Zone 2 seat was canceled due to lack of opposition. Incumbent Steve Majors was the only candidate to file in the race, and he was automatically elected to another term.[1]
