Steve McClure (Republican Party) is a member of the Illinois State Senate, representing District 54. He assumed office on January 11, 2023. His current term ends on January 13, 2027.

Biography
Steve McClure was born in Springfield, Illinois.[1] McClure graduated from Springfield High School.[2] He earned a B.A. in history and political science from Arizona State University in 2006, an M.A. in political studies from the University of Illinois at Springfield in 2008, and a J.D. from Valparaiso University in 2011.[2][3] McClure's career experience includes working as an assistant state's attorney with the Sangamon County State's Attorney's Office and a summer law clerk with Londrigan, Potter, & Randle, P.C.[2][3]
