Miller received a B.S. from Louisiana State University in 1989 and a J.D. degree from the Tulane University School of Law in 1994.[1]

Primary: He was successful in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 40.8 percent of the vote. He competed against John J. Erny III and Anthony P. Lewis.
