My passion is to help kids become successful adults. As a part-time teacher, I personally know what is happening in today's classrooms. As the founder and president of a company with roughly 300 employees, I know how to run an efficient organization.
  • Teacher Pay and classroom management support.
  • Focus on student success after graduation.
  • Offer trade skills for students who don't want to go to college.
My passion is to help students become successful, productive, and effective adults.

My name is Steve Moore, and I am running for Aldine ISD Board of Trustees, Position 1. I have been in the community for seven years as an apartment owner, and I live in a one-bedroom apartment unit my company owns. Since 2012, I have worked hands-on in the community to make Greenspoint a safe place to live. I worked alongside the Houston Police Department to get the crime down. We offer security measures that, usually, are only found in high-rent areas. My properties provide services to all community residents, including YMCA and Southwest Glen Mission after school programs and Ambassadors for Christ, Youth Ministries. Our company also participates in Aging-out-of-foster-care Transitional Living Programs, and we give members of the community jobs, give employees discounted rent, a livable wage, and provide training and work experience for a prosperous life. I seek to share my business knowledge and understanding of the community with Aldine ISD as a trustee. I plan to adopt cooperation with outside agencies to improve students' school performance, just as I worked with the police to bring down crime. I also plan to consider home life's effect on children's school performance and encourage schools to communicate with apartment staff when there are issues. I have the gracious support of Pastor, EA Deckard of Greenhouse International Church and the outgoing Trustee, Patricia Bourgeois, and several Houston City Council members.
  • Safety from gun violence and bullying.
  • Technology for students and teachers.
  • Graduates be better prepared for life.
Public safety, teaching life-skills, and community building.
