Moss earned a bachelor's degree in telecommunications from the University of Florida. He currently works as a financial consultant at Channel Resources, Inc. Moss and his wife, Deniece, have two children.[1]

Incumbents Ginger Littleton, Joe Wayne Walker and Steve Moss were unopposed after the June 20, 2014 filing deadline. All three candidates won new terms on the board due to the lack of opposition.[2]
