Steve Roberts was an Independent candidate for Ward 28 representative on the St. Louis Board of Aldermen in Missouri. Roberts was defeated in the special election on July 11, 2017. This special election was held to replace Lyda Krewson, who was elected mayor of St. Louis on April 4, 2017, and who resigned her Board of Alderman seat on April 18, 2017.[1]

A special election was held on July 11, 2017, to fill the vacancy created by Ward 28 Alderwoman Lyda Krewson's (D) election to mayor in April. Heather Navarro (D) defeated Jerome Bauer (Green), Steve Roberts (Independent), and Celeste Vossmeyer (Independent) in the special election for Ward 28 of the St. Louis Board of Aldermen.
