Steven Baddour was a Democratic member of the Massachusetts State Senate. He represented the First Essex district after winning a special election in January 2002. He announced his resignation in late March 2012 in order to take a job with law firm McDermott, Will & Emery.[1]

Biography

Baddour earned his Bachelor's degree at the University of Massachusetts-Darmouth and his Juris Doctor at Massachusetts School of Law.[2]

Baddour won re-election to the First Essex District Seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. Stephen Cole and Sean Downing ran for the seat on the Republican ticket. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.

2008

On November 4, 2008, Baddour won re-election for the Senate election for the First Essex district.[3] In this election he raised $219,445-; of that total $196,019- (89.9%) was from in state contributions and $22,025 (10.1%) was from out of state contributions.[4]
