Steven G. Bauer is a judge for the Dodge County Circuit Court in Dodge County, Wisconsin.[1] He was first elected to the position in 2008.[2] Bauer ran for re-election to the Dodge County Circuit Court in 2014 and was re-elected for a term that will expire in 2020.[3][4][5]

Bauer ran in the 2012 election for Wisconsin State Assembly District 27. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012, and was defeated by incumbent Steve Kestell (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[6]

Education

Bauer earned his B.A. in agricultural economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1981.[3] He earned his M.S. in agriculture and resource economics from Oregon State University in 1984, and he received his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992.[1][7]

Career

Bauer has also worked as a research assistant for the USDA Economic Research Service and as a dairy farmer.[7]
