The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 3, 2014. Incumbent Harriette Chandler defeated William Feegbeh and Sean Maher in the Democratic primary. Paul Franco was unopposed in the Republican primary. Chandler defeated Franco in the general election.[2]
