Steven DeLisle is a local dentist with offices in Superior, Frenchtown, and Lolo. Steven is a Constitutional conservative who believes in limited government and protecting the freedoms of Montanans. Steven will vote to protect your gun rights, parental rights, freedom of speech and religion, private property rights, privacy, and medical autonomy. Steven personally experienced his business being shut down, forced masking, and having the government force experimental vaccines that were a condition to employment. This should never happen in Montana. Steven will always prioritize the individual over then government and will stand up for his constituents.
  • Lower property taxes. Montanans are facing skyrocketing property taxes. The legislature can reduce the tax rate and how often valuations are done by the department of revenue. We need to stabilize property taxes or Montanans will be forced out of their homes.
  • Parental Rights. Parents have rights under the 14th-Amendment to the US Constitution. These include the ability to raise and educate their children according to their beliefs. When the government indoctrinates children against the will of the parents, the government oversteps its proper authority. I support full transparency in public education and a voucher system so students have options where they can be educated. I also oppose CPS weaponizing gender ideology against the parents.
  • Hunting, Fishing, and Trapping. I support a constitutional amendment to the Montana Constitution that would protect the right of Montanans to hunt, fish, and trap on public lands. Public access to our vast lands should be promoted not hindered by the government.
I am passionate about protecting parental rights, freedom of speech, medical freedom, and private property.
The most important principles for an elected official is an understanding of our Constitutional Republic. Understanding what powers have been delegated to the Federal Government and which powers remain with the states is vital to passing legislation that will survive judicial review.
Private sector experience, job creator, healthcare provider, constitutional law degree.
Core responsibilities are listening to your constituents, passing legislation that your constituents desire, and making sure that bills are not repugnant to our state constitution.
I worked at Chuck E. Cheese starting at 15 years old.
It is beneficial for private sector workers to get elected. Too many politicians have no expertise in the private sector and therefore lack ideas and critical thinking skills.
CPS removed a child from their parents home in Montana because CPS did not agree with the traditional views on gender ideology regarding their child. This is an injustice and should not happen. I would propose a bill to prevent CPS from considering gender ideology when considering if a child should be removed from their biologic parents. https://nypost.com/2024/01/30/news/montana-parents-lose-custody-of-daughter-after-opposing-transition-report/
Lower the property tax rate on residential property.
