Steven G. Salant is an associate judge on the Sixth Circuit Court for Montgomery County in Maryland. He has served as a judge on the court since October 20, 2008 and was re-elected on November 2, 2010 to a full fifteen-year term, ending in 2025.[1][2][3]

Education

Salant received his undergraduate degree in political science from the State University of New York at Albany in 1974 and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1977.[1]

Salant was re-elected to the Sixth Circuit Court, along with six other judges, in the general election on November 2, 2010. He received 16.01% of the vote.[2][4]
