Steven Hayward is an American author and professor. As of May 2024, Hayward was a senior resident scholar at the Institute of Governmental Studies at UC Berkeley and a fellow of the Law and Policy Program at Berkeley Law School.[1][2][3] He writes for publications such as The New York Times, Washington Post, and the Claremont Review of Books and is the author of six books.[1]
