Biography
Steven Holt served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 20 years and reached the rank of first sergeant. Holt's career experience includes owning Movie Magic USA and working as a deputy sheriff and police chief.[1][2] He has served on the board of the local Music Boosters.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 14, 2014. Paul Thelen was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Steven Holt defeated Dillon D. Malone in the Republican primary. Thelen faced Holt in the general election.[7][8] Holt defeated Thelen in the general election.[9]
