Steven K. Ristvedt is a magistrate judge of the First District of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in March of 2000 to serve Buchanan County.
Education
Ristvedt graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1972 and went on to receive his law degree from Drake University in 1975.[1]
Career
Ristvedt has worked as an assistant county attorney and an assistant Iowa attorney general. In addition to his magistrate duties, he has worked as a private practice lawyer since 1978.[1]
