Steven Katzman
Steven Katzman is a judge of the El Paso County Court in Colorado. He assumed office on May 7, 2021. His current term ends on January 9, 2029.
Katzman ran for re-election for judge of the El Paso County Court in Colorado. He won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.
He was appointed to the El Paso County court on May 7, 2021 by Governor Jared Polis (D).[1]
Biography
Katzman received his bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado in 1975 and his J.D. from Northwestern School of Law, Lewis & Clark College in 1978. He began his legal career in private practice as an Attorney at Law from 1979 to 2007. He worked as an Attorney with Daniel, Thom & Katzman, PC from 2007 to 2017. From 2018 until his appointment to the bench, he was a Senior Partner at Katzman, Beck & Thom, PC.[2]
