Steven L. Hunter was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 25 of the Illinois State Senate. He is a precinct committeeman for the Geneva 15 district.

Hunter works in Network Operations for AT&T and serves as a Union Steward for IBEW Local 21. He served in the United States Navy as a Submariner.
