Steven Orsini was a 2012 Independent candidate for District 19 of the Rhode Island State Senate. He was previously a 2010 Republican candidate for District 20 of the Rhode Island State Senate.
Elections
2012
Orsini ran in the 2012 election for Rhode Island State Senate District 19. Orsini ran unopposed in the Independent primary on September 11. Ryan William Pearson won in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Bethany Moura ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Orsini and Moura were defeated by Pearson in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]
2010
Orsini was a Republican candidate for District 20 of the Rhode Island State Senate. The primary election was on September 14, and the general election was on November 2. He was defeated by incumbent Democrat Roger Picard in the general election on November 2, 2010. He was unopposed in the September 14 Republican primary.[2]
