Steven Perren
Steven Perren was a judge for Division 6 of the California 2nd District Court of Appeal. He assumed office on November 9, 1999. He left office on July 31, 2022.
Perren was appointed to the court by former Governor Gray Davis (D) and took the oath of office on November 9, 1999.[1] Perren was retained by voters in 2010.[2] He retired on July 31, 2022.[3]
Education
Perren received his bachelor's degree in history from UCLA in 1964 and his law degree in 1967. From 1967 to 1969, he served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps.[4][5]
Career
Perren was in private practice from 1972 to 1983. He became a judge for the Ventura County Superior Court in 1983, where he served until his appointment to the court of appeals.[4][5]
