Steven R. Bordner
Steven R. Bordner was a judge on the Ninth Circuit Court in Illinois. He served in Lewistown.[1] Bordner retired from the court on July 31, 2015.[2]
Education
Bordner earned an undergraduate degree from Illinois College in 1977, going on to receive his J.D. from the Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1980.[3]
Career
- 2010-2015: Judge, Illinois Ninth Judicial Circuit Court (Elected)
- 1995-2010: Associate Judge, Illinois Ninth Judicial Circuit Court[3]
Prior to becoming a judge, Bordner worked for more than 15 years with the law firm of Collins & Bordner. He also served for four years as a special assistant attorney general.[3]

Bordner defeated James H. Harrell with 58.48 percent of the vote in the general election for the Illinois Ninth Judicial Circuit Court.[2][4][5]
