Steven Ramos
Steven R. Ramos-Santos was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 22 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
Biography
After graduating from William Allen High School, Ramos joined the United States Army. He served from 1994 to 1998. He then joined the Pennsylvania Air National Guard and served until 2000.[1]
Professionally, Ramos pursued a career in information technology. At the time of his candidacy, Ramos was working as a systems analyst.[1]
Ramos has been active in the Republican Party. He has served as poll watcher and anti-fraud monitor in Philadelphia. He also participated in a voter registration drive in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He served as the executive director for the Lehigh County Republican Committee in 2010. In 2006, he served as the Hispanic outreach coordinator for Senator Rick Santorum. He has also been a candidate for local Allentown offices as a Republican candidate in 2011 and 2013.[1]

2014
Elections for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Peter Schweyer defeated Tatiana Tooley in the Democratic primary, while Steven Ramos was unopposed in the Republican primary. Schweyer defeated Ramos in the general election.[2][3][4]
