Steven Schultz

Steven Schultz is a judge for the Seventh Judicial District Court in Colorado. He was appointed to the court on September 5, 2014, by Lieutenant Governor Joe Garcia on behalf of Governor John Hickenlooper.[1] Schultz assumed office on January 13, 2015.[2] He will serve an initial term of two years and then must run in the next retention election.[3]
Education
Schultz received his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University in 1988 and his J.D. degree from the Brooklyn Law School in 1993.[2]
Career
Before he became a judge, Schultz practiced law with the firm of McCarthy & Schultz. He also previously worked as an attorney at the firm of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP.[2]
