Steven Spellman
Steven Spellman was a judge of the Windham District Superior Court in Connecticut. He left office in 2021.

He was nominated on March 14, 2014 by Governor Dan Malloy and was confirmed by the Connecticut General Assembly on April 25, 2014.[1]
Education
Spellman earned his undergraduate degree from Union College. He earned a J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.[1]
Career
Spellman served as the chief of staff and director of government affairs for the Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection from 1995 until he joined the superior court in 2014. He previously was an attorney in private practice. In addition, he served in the Connecticut General Assembly from 1987 through 1992 and represented the towns of Groton, Stonington, North Stonington, Ledyard, Voluntown, and Griswold in the Connecticut State Senate.[1]
