Steven Stafstrom
Steven Stafstrom (Democratic Party) is a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 129. He assumed office on February 27, 2015. His current term ends on January 6, 2027.
Stafstrom (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives to represent District 129. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Steven Stafstrom lives in Black Rock, Connecticut. He earned a bachelor's degree in politics and philosophy from Fairfield University. He also holds a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law. As of September 2019, Stafstrom is a member of the Bridgeport-based law firm of Pullman & Comley, LLC, practicing in the area of commercial litigation. He is also a trustee of St. Ann’s Parish and on the boards of the Black Rock Neighborhood Revitalization Zone and the Bridgeport Regional Business Council’s leadership program. [1]

Steven Stafstrom (D) defeated Enrique Torres (R), Robert T. Keely Jr. (nonpartisan), Robert E. Halstead (nonpartisan) and Hector A. Diaz (nonpartisan) in the special election on February 24.[3][4][5]
The seat was vacant following Auden Grogins' (D) appointment to the Connecticut Superior Court.[6]
A special election for the position of Connecticut House of Representatives District 129 was called for February 24. Candidates were nominated by parties rather than chosen in primaries.[7]
