Steven T. O'Neill
Steven T. O'Neill is a judge on the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. O'Neill was elected to the court in 2003 and retained in 2013. His current term expires in 2023.[1]
Education
O'Neill earned his undergraduate degree from Drexel University and his J.D. from Villanova University.[2][3][4]
2013 election
O'Neill was retained to the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas with 76.0 percent of the vote on November 5, 2013. [1]
Noteworthy events
Following comedian Bill Cosby's 2018 conviction on sexual assault charges, Judge O'Neill presided over a post-conviction hearing in the case. O'Neill ordered that Cosby would be restricted to his home until sentencing and wear a GPS monitoring device. O'Neill also ordered that Cosby could only leave his home to meet with attorneys or seek medical treatment.[5]
