A Stop Walmart in Lompoc Initiative is being circulated by Walmart opponents in Lompoc, California in Santa Barbara County. It may qualify for a 2010 ballot.[1]

Petition sponsors oppose the plan of Walmart to expand its store at 721 West Central Avenue into a supercenter that would carry full grocery goods and have more retail space.

Walmart wants to expand its store in Lompoc to 151,271 square feet. They believe if the store expands, they can add 100 jobs.
