A Strasburg-Franklin Local School District Property Tax Levy Renewal question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Tuscarawas County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.

This question authorized the Strasburg-Franklin Local School District to renew a property tax levy of up to 1.6 mills ($1.6 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund permanent improvements to the District.[1]

Text of measure

Language on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Strasburg-Franklin Local School District for the purpose of permanent improvements at a rate not exceeding one and six-tenths (1.6) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to sixteen cents ($0.16) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014.
