I am a wife, mother, small business owner, long-time community volunteer, and most importantly, a proud resident of Apex. With a background in Engineering and Finance, I bring practical problem-solving skills to address the challenges facing our town.

One of the things I love most about Apex is its high quality of life and welcoming atmosphere for people from all walks of life. I’m a doer - when I see a problem, I don’t wait. I roll up my sleeves and get to work.

I’m running for Apex Town Council for two main reasons:

To ensure everyone who calls Apex home is treated fairly and feels welcomed.

To take responsibility for balancing our rapid growth with the quality of life we all value. That means smart planning from the start of each development - not waiting until problems arise.

I’m running to serve, unite, and empower our community.
  • Economic Vitality

A thriving local economy is the backbone of our community. I want Apex to remain a town where small businesses flourish and families feel secure about their future. My approach includes:

Supporting local small businesses through fair zoning, accessible permitting, and programs that connect them with resources.

Attracting clean, innovative industries that bring good-paying jobs while respecting our community’s values.

Strengthening our local economy by encouraging a vibrant downtown and shopping districts where residents can shop Apex first and support local businesses.
  • Sustainable Growth Apex is growing rapidly, and that growth must be smart, balanced, and sustainable. I believe in smart planning that protects our neighborhoods and quality of life. Requiring infrastructure, including roads, schools, parks, and utilities, to keep pace with development. Encouraging housing options that are affordable and accessible, while preserving the small-town character that makes Apex special. Setting strong environmental standards to protect our air, water, and green spaces.
  • Public Health & Safety The safety and well-being of our families must always come first. I will champion policies that keep Apex a safe, healthy, and welcoming place to live. This includes: Ensuring our emergency services, police, and fire departments have the resources they need to protect residents, while also fostering community trust and accountability. Expanding pedestrian and traffic safety measures, such as crosswalks, sidewalks, and safer intersections. Supporting community health initiatives, from mental health resources to expanding afterschool programs for our children, to ensure every family has access to the essentials of healthy living.
Balanced Growth and Development:

Manage rapid growth with smart planning that preserves Apex’s character.

Economic Vitality:
Support small businesses and strengthen our local economy.

Public Safety and Health:
Ensure our police, fire, and emergency services keep pace with growth, while investing in youth and mental health resources.

Environmental Sustainability:
Protect our tree canopy, water supply, and natural resources.

Transportation and Connectivity:

Improve roads, crosswalks, and transit options to keep Apex safe and accessible.
Integrity, accountability, and transparency are the most important qualities for an elected official. They should listen to all perspectives, act transparently, and be willing to roll up their sleeves to solve problems. Above all, they must put people before money. They should be committed to serving, uniting, and empowering the community.
One story that touched me deeply was from a retired neighbor who worried about being priced out of Apex, the town she has called home for decades. She told me her children, now college graduates, can’t afford to live in the very community where they grew up. She shared how much she loves Apex but feels uncertain about her future here because of rising housing costs.

Her story reminded me that growth is about more than development; it’s about ensuring Apex remains a place where families can belong for generations.
