Sue Thorn was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of West Virginia.
She has previously worked for Organizing for America,[1] an arm of the Democratic National Committee.

Thorn was defeated by incumbent David McKinley.[3] Thorn ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent West Virginia's 1st District. She faced no competition in the Democratic primary and faced Republican incumbent David McKinley in the general election in November.[4]
