Sue Walker
Sue Walker was a justice on the Texas Second District Court of Appeals. She ran unopposed and was elected to this position on November 7, 2000. She was re-elected in 2006 and on November 6, 2012 for a term that expired on December 31, 2018.[1][2] She did not seek re-election in 2018.
Education
Justice Walker graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 1982 and from Texas Tech University Law School in 1986.[3]
Career
Walker began her legal career as a law clerk and staff attorney for the Fifth District Court of Appeals. She then practiced civil and criminal appellate law as a solo practitioner until becoming a judge.[3]
