A Sugar Creek Township Levy Renewal question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Wayne County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.
This question authorized the Township of Sugar Creek to renew a property tax levy of up to 2 mills ($2 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for 4 years in order to fund the construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of roads and bridges.[1]

Language on the ballot:
“ | A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Sugar Creek Township for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of roads and bridges at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twenty cents($0.20) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for four (4) years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014.[1][2] | ” |
