A Sullivan Community School District Board question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Moultrie, Shelby and Coles Counties, which are in Illinois, where it was approved.
This question establishes that the Sullivan School District Board be elected at large and not district by district. This question also restricts the board members such that not more than 3 members may be selected from one congressional township.[1]

“ | Shall members of the Board of Education of Sullivan Community Unit School District No. 300, Moultrie, Shelby and Coles Counties, Illinois, be elected in 2013 and thereafter, at large and without restriction by area of residence within the district instead of the current restriction that not more than three (3) members of the board of education may be selected from one (1) congressional township in the school district?
