Mom of two elementary school CMS students and a successful corporate business executive who has c-suite experience in large and complex organizations that no other candidate brings to the board. Running because our board has lost focus on representing and actively engaging the community on its vision and how we improve student outcomes for all of our kids. We need experience hiring the right superintendent who can build plans and achieve student outcomes goals set by the board. The board needs to secure the proper funds to manage CMS infrastructure and operations needs can be met to help fulfill student outcomes by working collaboratively across the county and state to achieve ample support and allocate it properly. I am running because their current board members care more about political gain than student outcomes and they lack the experience to work as community leaders together for the better good.
  • We need experienced leadership to pick a superintendent based on community values and ability to lead CMS to hit student outcome goals. As a successful business leader and manager who has built organizations multiple times, I have this experience.
  • We need better communication and community connection through active engagement and outreach. We need to meet our communities members where they are not where we can be. As a marketing expert and communication leader, I have this experience.
  • We need experience managing complex large infrastructures and budgets so CMS can meet community needs and hit student outcomes. As business executive and c-suite member, I have this experience.
That all kids in our community receive a great education that allows them to reach their highest potential.
