A Sunnyside Unified School District Operations Budget and Tax proposition was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Pima County, Arizona, where it was defeated.
This measure authorized the extension and increase of the budget override authority and the resulting tax for the maintenance and operations of the Sunnyside Unified School District. This proposition allowed the revenue control limit to be exceeded by up to 15% for seven years.[1]

Language on the ballot:
| “ | A “yes” vote shall authorize the Sunnyside Unified School District Governing Board to extend and increase the existing maintenance and operations budget override authority and resulting tax, which exceeds the District’s revenue control limit by up to 15% per year for seven years.
A “no” vote shall not authorize the Sunnyside Unified School District Governing Board to extend and increase the existing maintenance and operations override authority and resulting tax, which exceeds the District’s revenue control limit by up to 15% per year for seven years.[1][2] |
