Superior Court Judge Gutman dies

California: Judge Paul Gutman, of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, passed away on June 14, 2010 at the age of 78. He had served on this court since 1993. Prior to his death, he had been on an extended sick leave.

Paul Gutman grew up in New York. After a few years in the Navy, he moved to California, where he practiced as a lawyer until he was appointed to the Superior Court by then-Gov. Wilson.[1]
