Superior Court judge to step down

Washington: On Friday, April 8, Judge Rebecca M. Baker announced her plans to retire from the Ferry/Pend Oreille/Stevens Superior Court on October 15, of this year. Though Judge Baker won the position in an election in 1996, her seat will be filled by an appointment from the governor because she is leaving before her term is up.[1]
