Susan C. Harlan was the presiding judge for the Superior Court of Amador County in California. She was appointed to the bench by former governor Pete Wilson in 1991.[1][2] She retired on January 16, 2015.[3]

Education

Harlan received a bachelor's degree from the University of the Pacific in 1974 and a J.D. from Lincoln Law School in 1979. She also received a master's degree in business and taxation from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1986.[2]

Career

Prior to becoming a judge for the Superior Court of Amador County, Harlan was an attorney in private practice with offices in Sutter Creek and Sacramento.[2]
