Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a concerned citizen who was born and raised in Mercer County, New Jersey and I have worked throughout the country. I come from a family of veterans and my father is a disabled veteran. As a registered nurse for over 16 years, I am a problem solver and critical thinker who has been committed to patient advocacy while respecting diversity throughout my career. I know that the ability to work with many types of people, personalities, and disciplines would serve the citizens of our district as well. I am not a career politician, but as I have been witnessing what has been going on in this state and country, I have made it a point to become actively involved to make a difference. I am focused on servicing our communities' concerns and committed to protecting our liberty, freedom, and safety.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am committed to protecting the freedoms and constitutional rights of NJ State citizens.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

I have admiration for anyone who chooses to follow their heart and those who are willing to defend and protect the lives of others. No person is greater or less than another. Every person that has been given the breath of life has something positive to contribute to this society if they so choose.

Is there a book, essay, film, or something else you would recommend to someone who wants to understand your political philosophy?

"A More Perfect Union: What We the People Can Do to Reclaim Our Constitutional Liberties" book by Ben Carson MD, and Candy Carson

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

I am a critical thinker with common sense. I listen to what people have to say with compassion in order to better understand their perspectives in an attempt to find a common ground. I also fight for what I believe in and welcome debate when needed.

What process do you favor for redistricting?

Eliminate gerrymandering and use algorithms based on equal numbers of voters and compactness.

Yes, the legislature should oversee the use of emergency powers, especially for prolonged periods of time.
